Helping Hand Fund, Inc. is registered as a Non Profit Corporation with the State of Pennsylvania and recognized as a Non Profit Charitable Organization by the Internal Revenue Service under IRS Regulation 501(c)(3).
Helping Hand Fund, Inc. is dedicated to helping those members of our community who encounter unexpected difficulties, and is not restricted to those caused by medical conditions. The only requirement for assistance is that you have been to Hillside Campgrounds at least once. All assistance is confidentially provided. Records of funds distributed are available for review per Internal Revenue Service guidelines.
Helping Hand Fund, Inc. is supported by donations – from individuals, in Memoriam, or through monies raised by Raffles, or other income producing events.
No member of the Committee is eligible for Assistance from the Fund, nor is any Committee Member compensated for their services to the Fund, other than for reimbursement for expenses incurred at the direction of the Committee.
Donations to the Helping Hand Fund are Tax deductible to the extent as allowed by Internal Revenue Regulations.

BINGO
Bingo is held on Friday evenings at 7:00 pm at the Recreation Hall. Come join us and have some fun while helping to raise funds for the Helping Hand Fund. Five games (for $5) are played with three cards per sheet. An additional cover-all bingo game called the Mayor’s Game is played after a break between games 4 and 5. The single sheets for this game are $5, and pays out in a 50/50 split.
The Café is open during Bingo. A 50/50 raffle is held ($5 for 7 tickets, or $1 each) with the jackpot being split equally between the winner and HHF. Raffle prizes are also drawn with all tickets eligible to win the jackpot.
On Holiday weekends (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day) we also do a special Drag Bingo on Friday night, and a Super Bingo on either Sunday or Monday, 1:00 pm at the Rec Hall.
SPECIAL RAFFLES
Every year, there is a special raffle that we present, whether it is for a hand-made quilt or a piece of art donated by one of several resident artists at camp. Please be sure to ask us any of the committee members about what is current or check the bulletin board at the Rec Hall!
PLEASE NOTE: In order to receive assistance from us you MUST have stayed at Hillside Campgrounds, and we need to be able to verify that. If you HAVE NOT stayed at Hillside, we request that you find a more appropriate organization. Thank you.

If your Employer offers an Employer Match, you might be able to donate that way and have your Employer match your Donation to a certain amount. We accept Credit Cards!
Utilizing the PayPal service, a well-known secure website credit card transaction service, we are able to accept all credit cards – whether you have a PayPal account or not! PayPal offers special terms to charities for a very low per-transaction fee of 2.5% of the donation amount. For example: if you donate $100.00, $2.50 is the fee paid to PayPal and the remaining $97.50 is the amount that reaches the Helping Hand Fund!
